NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performance

I am working on a project that consists of 2 buildings on one site that I plan on certifying using the Group Certification option discussed in the LEED Campus Guidance document. In attempting EAc1 Option 1, I would need to model both buildings as a single building (not quite sure how to do that) or am I to produce 2 separate models and add them together? Seems rather cumbersome... Any suggestions? Thanks Neil

You can do it either way under 2009. In v4 you would have to model them separately because each building needs to meet the minimum individually.
