NC-2009 RPc1:Regional Priority

Credit Denied

Hello All, Our project (zip 54703) just finished final design review and SSc1 was denied which was one of our RP credits as well. My question is, does that free us up "RP-wise" to apply it to another of the 6 RP credits at our disposal? Part of the reason I ask is because the symbol for the RP doesn't seem to be "active" in LEED Online. Has anyone been in this situation? And will a project always earn 4 regional priority credits as long as they have earned the supporting credit?

Yes. The denied credit will not make you lose any RP point. You can get points for the RP credit available from the other 5 RP credits. However, you will be awarded with maximum 4 points for the RP credits even if you achieve 5 or 6 RP credits listed for your region.
