CI-2009 IEQc3.1:Construction IAQ Management Plan—During Construction

temporary capping of the remaining duct work

If there is a project that is going to demo 1/2 of the ductwork on a floor site hich the building is keeping on the HVAC System during construction do we need to put temporary capping of the remaining duct work? I understand that if the system is on during construction we need to have merv 8 filters being utilized but wonder what other requirements might need to be followed..

Is said ductwork outside the construction area? I would think the main concern is source control. If you are adequately separating such that the ductwork is not exposed to particulates then you are probably covered.
