CS-2009 PIf3:Occupant and Usage Data

Space usage type - kitchen

We got a comment back from preliminery review regarding kitchen in an office building. We defined these Spaces as retail general which apparently was incorrect. Kitchen Spaces are not defined under a specific Space usage type. Has anyone else had a similar solution how to enter this Spaces when using the default occupancy option.

Hi Thomas. Is that a small kitchennette for making a cup of coffee [break room] or is it a food serving facility- kitchen? You can resort to the EQ Space Type Matrix, April 2009 (http://www.usgbc.org/resources/eq-space-type-matrix) for further reference.
