Dear all,
Does auditorium seating fall under furniture category ? If yes, had we include it for calculation or it is optional ?
Seatings (wood, steel and fabric) are manufactured in a factory and are installed in the auditorium of a business center.
Thank you for your help.

LEED generally considers furniture to be free-standing. A common analogy is if you turn the building upside down, whatever doesn't fall out is the base building. For the purpose of this credit, auditorium seating seems to be a loophole. In the spirit of the credit I would consider auditorium seating as part of furniture if you are including the furniture category. It wouldn't make sense in any of the base categories, so I would ignore it if you are not considering furniture.

Thank you for the nice analogy. It's very clear. If I turn the building upside down auditorium seating doesn't fall out because they are set to the floor. Plus, these are the only "furniture" I will include because there is no other furniture in the scope of work. But, as you say it's a bit ambiguous.
Thank you !
