CS-2009 SSc6.2:Stormwater Design—Quality Control

Lets say the 90% runoff volume for the project area is 10,000 c.f. If only 50% of the project area drains to the bmp which is designed to treat 10,000 c.f. at 100% efficiency but only 7,900 c.f. out of the 10,000 c.f. drain to the bmp, am I correct that this would be insufficient to earn this credit?

You need to do your model based of the numbers they give you in the footnotes of the credit, which are dependent on your region. Use that to generate a runoff volume, that is what you need to treat. Make sure this is what you did. But you are correct, if you need to treat 10,000 cf, and 10,000 cf of runoff doesn't get to your BMP you will not comply. You can not simply provide 10,000 cf of volume and take credit for the hole you made if nothing gets to the hole. Try piping or adjusting grading to get more to the BMP.
