Anyone else running into a problem with the calculator provided by the USGBC? I can't seem to change the 'Equipment calculations are based on' from "cost of products" to "number of products" as I get the "The cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and therefore read-only" error in EXCEL.

Michelle. Yes there is a problem with this. (I'm indebted to BuildingWise team for the research). Cell H16 cannot be changed from “cost of products” to “number of products.” This cell appears to be protected and read only.
To resolve this will take action from GBCI, or can you create a separate excel spreadsheet using 'number of products' and upload that in the ACP section (yes, I know a long winded way...try GBCI on line team for a result).

Thanks Barry! I'll follow up with GBCI and USGBC to see if they can get this fixed :)

Further to this error it seems that a vacuum cleaner not CRI certified can comply if it meets with the maximum operating sound level.

Dear Charalampos,
Vacuum cleaners must be both CRI certified and comply with the maximum operating sound level to be considered sustainable. This is true for v2009 and v4.
