Fenestration U-value: Framed versus Center-of-Glass

I received a review comment requesting confirmation that my modeled fenestration U-value accounts for framing. I'm having a difficult time contacting the window manufacturer. The data sheet states that "All performance data calculated using LBNL Window 5.2 software...." My question is: does this statement imply that the published U-value is indeed the framed assembly value? Thanks Paul

The center of glass and the whole assembly U-values are commonly published. Usually the information can be found on their web site. The window software they reference can be used to calculate both. It does not necessarily mean that it is an assembly U-value.
