Are public lavatory and kitchen faucets excluded from the requirement to be WaterSense labelled? If yes, are those product types required to be somehow labelled or would those be accepted if they are equipped with a specific water efficiency technology but not a label?

Public lavatories are not required to be WaterSense labeled but are subject to 0.5 gpm federal standard. Kitchen faucets are not required to be WaterSense labeled.
