Is a mixed of natural ventilation and Mechanical ventilation for a residence allowed? Ashrae 62.1-2007 does not mention the requirements for such conditions, or maybe I don't see it. Shouldn't the residence be treated as a whole for the dwelling unit requirement? or can it be treated as individual spaces withing the dwelling unit and therefore some areas be treated with natural ventilation and interior rooms with mechanical ventilation?
