Dear all, Our project in France is considering using panel made of laminated composite wood on some walls. Under "Table 1" page 658 is this building element considered as "Walls" or "Composite wood" or both? We want to use Composite wood evaluation for all products made with composite wood no matter where they are applied to prove our compliance with low emitting third party certification (French Class A or A+). Does this building element need to meet the "General Emissions Evaluation" or "Composite Wood Evaluation" ? Thank you !

From the reference guide "Although composite wood compliance with the CARB formaldehyde criteria is beneficial, chamber testing for a broader range of individual VOCs emitted from assembled products that include composite wood in combination with other components can provide a better determination of a product’s potential effect on indoor air quality. Therefore, the composite wood criteria of this credit do not apply to composite wood covered by the full VOC testing of other categories." Therefore your paneling would fall under the Wall category and needs to follow the General Emissions Evaluation.

Ok I understand now this section but if composite wood pannel are tested alone with CARB and finished are tested alone under general emissions evaluation it is compliant ? Thank you for your help
