I have a question regarding what lighting that should be modeled as interior lighting in a Core and Shell project.
For example, should task lighting as well as achitechtual lighting (for visuals) be included. In a Core and Shell project, it is hard to know how the space will be occupied and how many desktop lamps or other task lightning that will be installed later on.
If these are not included in a Core and Shell project - won´t there be a difference compared to a New Construction project - where I guess this should be known? This does not seem to be handled by exceptions under 9.2.2.3 in ASHRAE 90.1-2007.
To summarize my question, does the Interior Lighting Densities in Table 9.5.1.(90.1-2007) include lighting installed by occupants - and if so - how is that handled in a Core and Shell project.
Thanks in advance!

The lighting in tenant spaces is modeled identically to the Baseline. There are two exceptions where some savings can be claimed - 1) if the lighting system has been fully designed, or 2) if there is a requirement in the tenant lease agreement for a lowr level of lighting than the baseline.
