NCv4 IEQc9 Acoustics - Hospitality

Is there a more comprehensive list clarifying how spaces are classified? Is a breakfast bar in a hotel considered retail or hotel? Are they anticipating acoustic separation between similar spaces - guest laundry & hotel laundry? Does it really need a 60STC separation?

You could definitely ask to try to get USGBC to clarify, but I have not seen a more comprehensive list. This is how I would interpret the list....I don't see "hotel" as an option, there is only "hotel or motel room". So I would classify the breakfast bar as Retail. If the guest laundry is interior to a "hotel or motel room", then the laundry to hotel room demising wall would need an STC 60 even if it's technically laundry room to laundry room.
