I am confused on the use of microfiber in a green cleaning policy and program. Is the use of microfibers required as part of a high Performance cleaning program? Are the purchases of microfiber cloths and tools included in the calculation of green cleaning products and materials? What is included in the 75% of costs of green cleaning products and materials?

Hello Louise!
The use of microfibers is not required in a high performance green cleaning program but a smart choice as they can be used over and over again. As microfiber cloths are not covered by a standard (such as GreenSeal) they may be excluded from calculations.
Typically, the items included in purchase calculations include: toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, trash bags, air fresheners, cleaning products, metal refinishing products, hard floor cleaners, carpet cleaners, disinfectants, etc.
