EBOM-v4 WEp1:Indoor water use reduction

Table 1 is compulsory

it is required to comply with the table 1 for each fixture as it seems to state in the establisment period for option 1 calculated water use, or it is enough to comply with the baseline 120% o 150% over table 1 values even if any fixture does not comply with table 1 (but another fixture is rather below the table 1 value and so allows to compensate between them) ?. If so it doesn´t make too much sense: if you comply with table 1 for each fixture (100%) you will always comply with baseline (120% o 150% over table 1 values), isn´t it?.

Hi Oscar, Table 1 is only provided to show how the baseline water usage is established. The requirement is not to ensure all of the building fixtures meet these flush and flow rates, but to ensure that the project building can reduce water consumption to or below this baseline. So a building can have a fixture that uses more water than those listed in Table 1, as long as the rest of the fixtures ensure the building uses less water than the baseline. For example, a building can have urinals that flush at 1.5 GPF and still meet the prerequisite requirements if it has installed other low flow fixtures.

It´s clear now! Thank you very much indeed, Edward.
