Healthcare-v2009 MRc4.2:PBT source reduction - lead, cadmium and copper

Medical gases

When reading the credit literature it seems very clear to me that the requirements for copper pipe applications exclude medical gases such as N2, O2, ozone, vacuum..etc Is there any application that I could be missing? We are just considering pipes supplying water for human consumption. Thanks

I'd agree that the copper pipe is specific to human consumption. I'm surprised that they did not list copper flashings. The credit address lead free roofing and flashings but ignores the copper flashings. It is probably due to limited use in healthcare.
