I have a question regarding the pressure drop adjustments. We are doing energy modeling for a data center. The Data halls in the building have an array of CRAC units with EC plug fans (for air flow modulation). These units are 100% re-circulation units. Ventilation / Pressurization air is supplied in these rooms through a separate unit. For the baseline system, we are using a system type-8 (VAV system with PFB boxes). For this baseline system can we take a pressure credit - "Return and /or exhaust airflow control device" as the proposed system (CRAC) can modulate(control) the air flow. In our case since there is only one fan, it could be taken either as supply or return fan.

I don't think you can take the pressure credit in the Baseline. Since, CRAC units are single zone and generally, doesn't require return air controller.

Agreed. These units would not typically have an eligible control.
