ND-v2009 GIBp1:Certified green building

LEED ND Green Buildings

We are working on a LEED ND project, submitting stage 2. Our design stardards in our General Development Plan require newbuildings to achieve LEED Certification, but we will not have LEED Certified/Registered buildings by the time we submitt the project for ND. What documentation would be recommended for this situation? Copy of the design standards and a letter of commitment from the developer? thanks!

Tom, in addition to excerpting the design standards requiring certification, you should provide a copy of the legal document that compels future builders to certify, either a jurisdictional mandate or private agreement. Eliot
