CI-2009 IEQc4.5:Low-Emitting Materials—Systems Furniture and Seating

Guestroom furniture for hotel

We'd like to purse this as an ID credit for an NC hotel. Would we need to include guest room furniture - beds, nightstands, desks, etc.? Or would it just be office case goods and seating like it says in the credit language? Anyone done this for a hotel? Thanks in advance!

I would recommend submitting the office systems furniture and seating only. The guest room furniture would be considered "occasional furniture" in LEED definitions. However, I would also recommend specifying low-emitting furniture in as many cases as possible to improve indoor air quality, which in turn also supports IEQc3.2 for Air Quality Testing.
