CS-2009 SSp1:Construction Activity Pollution Prevention

NYC project

Hi. I have a project in the city where subway grates are found right outside the project fence as well as always a storm drain that is on a very busy street. Are these required to be covered and/or daily sweeping can be used as a measure instead?

Well this is subject to the conditions of your permit and local agency with jurisdiction, but inlet protection is typically required anywhere in the vicinity of the project. No clue about subway grates.
