I am currently working on the exemplary performance views of IEQc8.2 and I thought for a second that I had succeeded in achieving 90% EP views for both Measure 3 and 4 and that I could exhale and move on, but then looking closer at my spreadsheets it hit me: Can EP views in say one room exceed the floor area with direct line of sight for the particular room which I calculated for the main part of 8.2?
Logically, I think EP views should in a way be based on the main views of 8.2, which would mean my EP calculations are invalid, but I'm interested in hearing somebody else's thoughts on this.

EP views cannot exceed regular views. With measure 3, you can only go so far back, yet the regular views for 8.2 have no distance limit. So you'll never exceed it with that measure. Same with Measure 4, you have to have more access to view then the regular views. Because of using sight lines, a little sliver of basically an imperceivable view can be considered, but not with EP.
