We are working on a project that includes a building and open space surrounding it. Part of the open space is a vegetated area that the project owner is developing but that will be transferred to the municipality when finished. The team would like to count that vegetated open space as part of the LEED Boundary in order to achieve certain credits such as SSc5.1, and SSc6.2 among others. Is that possible, even though ownership of that area in the future will change hands? Thanks for your help.
