Historical data with building ownership change

We purchased and became managers for this building 3 years ago, and only have cost documentation up until then. The previous owner did not document costs so we are unable to provide 5 years worth of historical costs. Will we still be able to pursue this credit, given that we have maintained records for as long as we have owned and managed the building?

Hi Alice, yep you can still pursue the credit, just provide data for the years you have and provide a brief narrative explaining the situation so the reviewer understands what's going on.
