NC-2009 MPR2:Must be a complete, permanent building or space

2 buildings - one certification

Hello all! We are working on a project that will be two buildings, used for warehouses. The buildings are really close to each other and will share some systems and structures, such as the parking lots. Can we include them both in the same LEED certification project as one?

You can pursue a Group Certification, whereby a majority of the credits are documented as if it were 1 building. You can refer to the LEED Campus Guidance just issued on 4/1/14. Appendix A will explain how you document the credits a Group project. Note that you will have registration and reviews fees for each building.

Here you go. http://www.usgbc.org/resources/campus-guidance You can also see a discussions on this type of approach if you go to the main page and on the right side of the page look for "Hot Topics in LEED" and scroll down to the Multiple Buildings & Campuses bullet point. That Forum will be a big help.
