The SSc7.1 credit form gives you the option to either manually enter the SRI if you know it, or to enter the emittance and reflectance values and let the form calculate for you. The BD+C reference guide indicates that new gray concrete has an emissivity of .9, a reflectance of .35, and an SRI of 38. Yet, when I enter the emissivity and reflectance on the credit form and click calculate, I am given an SRI of 99.8. Is this a glitch in the form or am I missing something?

I would just manually enter in the SRI of 35 for the gray concrete. Typically, most products provide the SRI values.

Folks should be aware that a 5/9/2011 Addendum (now Correction) to the Reference Guide changed the SRI value for typical new gray concrete from 35 to 38. See http://www.usgbc.org/leed-interpretations?keys=100000912 for BD+C and O+M (http://www.usgbc.org/leed-interpretations?keys=100000958 for ID+C (SSc1) and http://www.usgbc.org/leed-interpretations?keys=100000801 (dated 2/2/11) for ND Built Project (SSc3)).
