CI-2009 IEQc5:Indoor Chemical and Pollutant Source Control

Manufacturing / Laboratory environment

We are working on an pharmaceutical production building that requires all building occupants to enter a changing / locker area right after the main entry to the building. They remove their shoes and change into specifically required production attire. Our entry way system does currently not provide enough space to meet the 10 feet walk-off requirement but is it even necessary in this case since the shoes will be removed upon entry?

This is probably a good CIR for your project. I would also want to know: If they are removing their shoes, are they washing their hands? and Where are the shoes stored?
