NC-2009 MPR2:Must be a complete, permanent building or space

office space in existing building

We are designing an office space in one floor of an existing building. It will be gutting and full fit-out of this floor alone; nothing else in the building will be touched and the exist. building is not LEED certified. It is going to be an architectural office, not retail. What is the best LEED system to use? is it CI or NC?

Yukari, You will want to register under LEED-CI. The only affect that the base building will have on your certification is that you may not qualify for many points, if any, under SSc1. Best of luck!
