I have a SGS test report of several furniture using ANSI/BIFMA M7.1-2007 method. The test results have two different table.
First one is VOCs concentrations in 1 Cubic Meter from system furniture, which is called Chamber concentration. In this table, Formaldehyde is 67.4 ppb which is higher than limit.
But the second table says: "According to concentration in 1 cubic meter chamber to calculate indoor air concentration", and the result is 4.5 ppb for Formaldehyde, which is under limit.
For my understanding, the second table is the result we should use to do the comparison with Limit. But I have a concern here if the table one will impact the review process. Did anyone meet this situation before? Thanks.

Hello Qiang,
It's difficult to say without reviewing the actual report, but I would assume the concentrations found in "Table 2" would reflect direct-scaling or extrapolations to Open/Private Office Settings, or LEED for Schools modeling. Your report should indicate if these test criteria are applicable, depending on your project requirements.
