Is it possible that an attached building (LEED certified) may be sufficient to meet the prerequisite GIBp1?

Karyn, I'm not sure I understand the distinction you're making by saying "attached" building. Any whole building can satisfy the prereq, regardless of whether it's physically attached to something else, eg a common wall. Eliot

Karyn, I just checked and found useful info about "attached buildings" on pp 14-18 of http://www.usgbc.org/Docs/Archive/General/Docs6473.pdf. If you follow these guidelines, you should be ok for GIBp1. Eliot
