CS-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

the minimum efficiency for the baseline case PTACs

Dear sir, Our LEED review of EAp2 said that the minimum efficiency for the Baseline Case PTACs should be 9.3 EER. I cannot understand it clearly and find the corresponding terms in 90.1. According to table 6.8.1D in 90.1,the minimum efficiency of PTAC(cooling mode) is 3.66-(0.213*Cap/1000)COPc. why should it be 9.3 EER?

It sounds like a difference between the IP and SI versions of the standard. In the IP version the formula is 12.5-(0.213*cap/1000) EER. COP = EER/3.412

Thank you, Marcus. I know the problem. In china, the units of EER and COP are both W/W. But in the UK,the units of EER is BTU/h*W and COP is W/W. Is it right?

That could be, I am not sure. Perhaps some folks from those countries could confirm the units.
