NC-2009 IEQc8.2:Daylight and Views—Views

Views on to courtyard

Part of the occupied areas in a building I am working on has views out on to an external courtyard. The courtyard has planted vegetation and even some water in certain places, and is open to the atmosphere above (i.e. not enclosed), but the building wraps around this external space. Will this present a problem in targeting IEQc8.2 views?

As long as the space is open to the exterior, you can count it as an exterior view for the purposes of this credit.
