I am working on a LEED NCv2.2 academic building which has completed its EAc5 Measurement and Verification effort. I am trying to understand how EAc5 and the pilot credit differ. Is it an accurate to say the pilot credit requires the analysis of the EAc5 findings in the form of a final report?

Any insight would be most helpful. It would seem like these two would build on each other, therefore both could be pursued by a single project. I'm having a hard time drawing the line between where one "stops" and the other picks-up.

Thank you!
