NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance
Can anyone please clarify if packaged air-to-water heat pumps (chilled and/or hot water production) have to:
1) comply with minimum efficiency requirements set to for water chilling packages in cooling mode?
2) which, if any, minimum efficiency requirements have to be complied with in heating mode (hot water production)?

A portion of our building envelope is historic. Can we exclude it from our model?

I believe that those systems are not covered by 90.1 and are therefore exempt from any minimum efficiency requirements.
I am not sure if they are covered by 90.1-2013 which just came out.
