In order to comply with LEED 2009 EA prerequisite 2 option 2, is it necessary to follow both daylighting recommendations in the Advanced Energy Design Guide climate zone 5 recommendation table, or is it sufficient to follow only some of the strategies DL 1 through 20 identified in the “How-to Tips in Chapter 5” column of the same table?

Hey Gavin,
You must meet or exceed every one of the applicable criteria in the AEDG climate zone table. The only one I see (in the 30% guide, not the 50% guide) for daylighting are dimming controls within a certain distance from windows and skylights. The strategies are there to help you figure out how to meet the criteria in the tables.
