CS-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

the power of the baseline buliding design pump

Dear Sir/Madam, per G3.1.3.10, the baseline bulidnging design pump power shall be 349kW/1000 L/s. when the chilled-water system is a primary/secondary system, there will be primary pump and secondary pump. shall the sum of the primary pump and secondary pump be 349kW/1000 L/s or each pump be so? It is the total of the two. There was an ASHRAE Interpretation last year which clarified this issue. You can download the interpretations from this web site - http://www.techstreet.com/products/1608726 - this particular one is IC 14.
