Apparatus Bay Flush out

We have a Fire Station project scheduled for a flush out of the Appratus Bay. The space has heating but there is not a simple way to control humidity. Has there been any experiances with this situation?

Hi Richard, This answer may depend on where you are located in the country. We in Seattle don't have humidity control in any of our buildings because we rarely have AC. We also don't have high humidity in our climate of course. We do flush out all the time. We use heat, i.e., set the set points higher to offset any potential humidity issues. We would generally use climate data and the time of year of flush out to base the calculations on to demonstrate no humidity issues. We have never had a problem getting this credit approved.
