On our campus AG projects, We have a central plant providing energy for 6 buildings. Only three of the buildings are LEED projects. Our engineers have not subtracted the 3 non-LEED buildings from the EAp2 model. Therefore I think that we are losing efficiency for the actual LEED projects. Am I right? And if so, do the non-LEED projects need to be modeled - or can we possibly use some default numbers for them.

To account for the central plant you should follow the Treatment of District or Campus Thermal Energy in LEED v2 and LEED 2009 - Design & Construction (DES v2) dated August 10, 2010 which can be accessed at: https://new.usgbc.org/resources/des-district-energy-systems-guidance-v22.... Having non-LEED projects on the plant should have no effect if following the DESv2 or treating it as purchased energy under Appendix G. In all cases you never model the entire plant.
