Hi All We have an unusual project... Completed in 2008 but remaining unoccupied thought the 'crisis'. It was recently sold and the new investor wishes for LEED certification. He does not prefer EBOM as it will take too long. As tenants are now moving in and the investor is recommissioning making significant upgrades to systems (HVAC, BAS/BMS, etc) is it possible to go for a CS certification. Any advice appreciated M
Markievicz. Very unlikely that the GBCI will allow you to unwind this LEED. If the building had been originally registered in LEED CS and not completed the paperwork, then there would be a chance of 'talking the GBCI' in to it...but without that registration...very unlikely.
And why no EBOM? Because it will take too long? Our best time for completing EB is 91 days PLUS GBCI review time...I don't see how anyone can call that too long
