Categories and prescriptive path alternate option

I opted-in to the prescriptive CMP path near the initial deadline in 2011, so I am close to my first renewal. I already have all of my required LEED_specific hours, but need a few hours in certain categories. If I understand the webinar "prescriptive path alternate" option correctly, it would eliminate the need for me to earn hours in those specific categories. However, if I do not take the prescriptive-path-alternate option, I would still need to earn credits in specific categories, correct?

Hi Michael, that's correct. You need to complete all six hours of webinars in the series in order to circumvent prescriptive and then fill in the remaining hours you need (to get to 30 total) with any topic you want. If you have fewer than six hours remaining in prescriptive, you might prefer to stick with it and do your best to find education relevant to your remaining categories.
