Open area inside a building - external or internal lighting?

Hello, I am working on a building that has one of its corners closed by green walls and no roof. It's a "patio" on the first floor, the six floors over it have view to that patio, but they are closed conditioned spaces. On these green walls, there are plants that need special lighting to grow, with a high power density. How should I interpret this space regarding the lighting? Would it be an exception of 'f. lighting for plant growth and maintenance' of interior lighting power or an exterior light? In this case, in which case of Building Exteriors would it fit? Thank you!

My first question is why is it designed this way so the plants need artificial light outside? Sounds like a bad idea for any project, let alone a green building project. Just because we can, does not mean we should. Sounds like an exterior space. I do not see an exception that clearly applies. The only category that makes any sense is the one for Building Facade but that does not fit real well either if the primary purpose of the lighting is plant growth. So you could try to make the case that this is some type of process lighting and see if the reviewer buys it. Before you did that I would talk to the designers about why the execution of this idea is so obviously not "green". Can't it be designed so the plant growth lights are not needed?
