Dear All, I want to model daylighting sensors for an open plan office. I read in this forum that the daylighting sensors are effective next to the external windows (within a ~1.5 x the window height distance). Now when it comes to energy modeling, do you need to separate the perimeter zones from the core zones of the office? Is it fine to model daylight control sensors for the whole office (modeled as one zone), or should I only model daylighting in perimeter zones? In theory the daylight sensor should sense the lighting levels and accordingly adjust the space lighting (by dimming) of the whole office to achieve the desired lux levels (500 lux for offices). Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Thanks
