NC-2009 EAc3:Enhanced Commissioning

CxA Experience

LEED online template/ form require the following: "Enter information for two projects commissioned by the CxA which are similar in scope and type to this LEED project building" I am working on LEED 2009 for School campus project so does that mean, I can only appoint someone with similar TYPE (Core Learning Space: K-12, Elementary/Middle School) commissioing experience? Please advise. Thank you

Sorry for the late reply, for some reason this post got by me. I have said in other posts that I am unclear how GBCI enforces this requirement. We have never had the qualifications of our CxAs questioned yet. What we try to do is provide projects that are related in some way, by size or systems. We also tend to show LEED projects, so if they choose too, they can look back at the documentation for those projects and see the name of the CxA…prove they did the work or were part of the project. My guess is they might question the CxA qualification for a huge project if the only projects show were very small. Or if the project includes complex central plant issues, but their experience was only with small projects with packaged systems. But this is only speculation.
