NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance
When a project would be classified under Major Renovation (our project is around 80% renovated) for the energy model, does the baseline have to be the same as Ashrae 90.1 envelope requirements or can it be the based on the current conditions to be demolished?

A portion of our building envelope is historic. Can we exclude it from our model?

All existing buildings can be modeled with pre-retrofit conditions in the baseline case according to Table G3.1(5)(f)(baseline).
