Dear community, I am facing a problem meeting the eap2 credit since my project presents almost 80% energy cost related to process. In order to solve this problem, I am trying to claim that my process machines are more energy-efficient than the standard process machines. For the comparison, should I consider the worldwide standard process machine, or can I consider local ones? The point is that I know that our process machines are very standard in the US or EU, but the project client wants to claim that he is "broadening" good practices. Does that make sense to you? thanks all for your clarifications, VG

You need to make the case that your baseline reflects standard industry practice. Local practice could be reflected in that but it could depend on the type of process you are addressing. I does make some sense in a generic, non-specific sort of way. If you can make the case that this project is bringing in new technology to the area where it has not installed before then that could be part of the rational for the baseline you establish.
