Hi everyone, We have a C&S Major Renovation Manufacturing Facility project. The building is doubling in size and some adjustments will be performed to the envelope of the existing building. The actual process loads in the existing building are quite high, but the extension will become a storage area (without process loads). The client says the building tenant may change in the future, and cannot define what the process load will be. Is it OK that with the intention of being conservative we consider 50% of loads to be process loads? Should we consider actual loads + extension? What is the rule of thumb for process loads in C&S manufacturing facilities? Thanks in advance!
