I'm using a grey asphalt shingle as my roofing material and the manufacturer has no SRI or emittance information. What can I do to achieve this credit? Do I assume a worst case scenario for the material and hope that I still comply? Thank you in advance.

Mike, Looks like you might have posted this question under the wrong credit, as it sounds like you're trying to demonstrate compliance with SSc7.2, Heat Island Effect, Roof. You can get your product tested through a laboratory to find the actual SRI value, however the typical SRI value for grey asphalt shingles is 22 (based on table in LEED reference guide), so you might have trouble achieving this credit unless this is only a portion of your total roof finishes and other, higher SRI value surfaces are also being used.

Even SRIs below the can qualify if more roofing than 75% meets the SRI requirement. A roof with an SRI of 22 than cover 100% of the roof allows the credit to be earned. Grey shingles can have SRI can have SRIs as high as 29. Grey is not misspelled. That is the spelling used by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC). If you go to the CRRC website and search for "grey" as the Keyword, and click "Shingles or Shakes" as the Product Type and you'll find a list of nearly 20 tested grey shingles. http://www.coolroofs.org/products/search.php
