NC-2009 PIf2:Project Summary Details

Floor Area Ratio Calculation

The property my project is being built upon is 25,920 SF and my LEED Project Boundry contains 31,348 SF. The Building / Site Area Ratio value is automatically calculated using the value I enter for the LEED Project Boundry. Do I need to explain the approximately 90% reduction in the Ratio value that results from the LEED Project Boundry and the proprerty area having different size areas?

James - the 2% minimum building area to site area ratio uses the area within your LEED Project Boundary, regardless of if that is greater than your legal property boundary. You do not need to report the legal property area size.
