I did a split review under V2.2 and I'm now in Construciton submittal but the reviewers have asked for clarifications. It seems possible to add a design credit not orginally pursued at this time - I assigned it using LEED online. Is this indeed true? Also, it appears one of the ID credits pursued and needing a clarification is not possible. Can I also just re-submit something different as replacement for the ID credit instead of addressing the clarification?

Yes, you certainly can have design credits that were not included as part of the design submission reviewed during the construction submission, as this is no different than if you had deferred a credit. This has been done on several of the projects we were involved with.
Also, ID credits are pretty specific in allowing you to submit a totally different one if you feel it will not be possible, but you would get one review and then have to appeal.
