Modeling radiant heating/cooling systems

Hi everybody. I'm working on a project in Central Europe and our team suggests implementing thermal active concrete structure to our design (heating/cooling pipes are integrated into a loadbearing structure). I have found out how to model radiant heating, but when using the radiant slab system, there is no option for radiant cooling. Can anyone give me a little kick in the right direction on how to model this system? I did a bit of googling and found out something about a "dummy zone" solution...

How you model something that can't be modeled directly in the software you are using is very software specific. You will need to find a published work around, develop one yourself and explain how it works to the reviewer, or use different software that can model the system. Developing your own work around requires that you understand the software calculations at the code level. So contact the software manufacturer or try posting your question in one of the software forums at onebuilding.org. If there is not a good work around consider using Energy Plus as I think it can model radiant cooling.

Yes, EnergyPlus can model it.
