Dear all: There is an administrative wing of an industrial facility and my questions are: 1. in the leedonline form, have I to evaluate and to document, in addition to the office areas (offices, meeting rooms, cafeterias etc.) , the production areas, processes, laboratories etc? 2.The office areas are being conditioned and with openable windows, these areas are ventilated with mixed mode? 2.1. In mixed ventilation areas, if they were. In leedonline form, I have to evaluate as a naturally ventilated areas , as mechanically ventilated areas or both? Thanks.

Lorena, all occupied zones must meet the requirements of ASHRAE 62.1-2007. You can do this using either Mechanical Ventilation OR Natural ventilation. You should fill out the form to reflect which one of these two methods meets the requirements of ASHRAE 62.1. In other words, you cannot provide 50% of the mechanical ventilation required and then add 50% of the operable opening area and call it a complete system. You can provide both methods but at least one has to meet the full requirement for the space. Fill out the form according to which method meets the requirements. Different zones can use different methods.
